Color is part of your construction site's statement. Pick the wrong colors and you might be giving off the wrong idea. Although you are probably working with a great team of designers, you can still keep these 5 ways in mind to choose the best color palette for your construction project.

Start with the biggest visible section of your site

What is the most visible part of your project? The biggest room, largest wall or most visible part. Choose this section as your starting point. What should this space convey? How should the people in this space feel when they are seeing it or spending time here? The color should match that intended mood.

Start with the boldest color and take it from there

If you are thinking a color palette, then you know you should play around with three or more colors that compliment each other. Don't over due the number of different colors. One of the best ways to figure out what your color palette should be is to start with the boldest color. Compliment this color with other softer colors.

Bring the furniture and elements into play

Color should compliment the furniture. Be it an office, a home, a museum or any other kind of space. You can start by choosing the furniture first and then choose the colors that will compliment them.

Always work with the same hue

Make sure you color palette stays within the same hue. You don't want to create disharmony or too many bright colors that just don't make sense.

Define the message you are conveying through your color palette

In the end, your message should be defined, and the colors you choose should represent that message at all times.
